The Valley Community Library and the NEPA Sierra Club will partner with the Friends of the Valley Community Library and the Viewmont mall to pick up litter for the International Coastal Cleanup with Keep NEPA Beautiful. By helping to pick up what’s on our roadsides and parking lots we will be preventing these plastics and trash from making their way to our streams, rivers, and eventually the ocean.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes. If you have work gloves or a trash picker-upper please bring them, otherwise, gloves and vests will be provided thanks to Keep PA Beautiful.
Please leave your four-legged friends at home and be aware that we will be cleaning along the main road with two road crossings so this cleanup is geared towards adults and teens.
